Altair (a Aquilae, AQL a) a host star Eagle constellation. Its apparent brightness is 0.77 m (12th brightest in the sky) and it is white in color. It forms the Summer Triangle with Denebin Cygnus and Lyra Vega.

Since the star is located in the country, only 17 light-years away, Altair is one of my closest with the naked eye stars. Star's name comes from the Arabic words al-Nasr al-Tair, which means "flying eagle". Altair a lähitähtiensä SS and? With a clear sky striking the string ... Star
