History: Underfield was formed on a farm in Northern Finland during the warmest days of the summer of 2009 by two cousins; a 14-year-old talent Vilma Ala-aho and Raine Oikarinen (Random Mullet, has also worked with artists such as Gavin Harper (ex-Alestorm) and Todd Hansen (The Berzerker)). The duo decided to fuse their skills for a female fronted modern-rock band with influences from many different popular music styles. Their aim is to picture the moment when you're still under the ground but starting to see some rays of the sun, creating an atmosphere that's simultaneously full of relaxation and energy, without losing it's rock-roots.
