i'm not in a rush to see what the score is
and i'm thinking of a lost memory

and never wonder why
the forgotten folds of a golden mist before

i thought that i could find you, in my dreams
a lost chapter of a common serenity
the motion that i find belongs
with the singing of this complicated song

and now i know that it's in the past
