III - Bring me the Sun

As I recall, 'twas my thousand years of silence
Convinced by vision of becoming a living god
In various forms they approached me, still assuring me
I was entitled to this kingdom for eternity

I blew fumes on the dying
And spent weeks embalming the dead
And I saw them conspiring
I heard the maddening whispers surrounding me

"Finally you've come, my champion
Now bring me the Sun"

I consumed every detail
Ate mushrooms still to widen the scale
I succeeded to bring back the dead
With a swarm of shadows surrounding me

"All the things you have done
Have proven that you are the one
Who could claim the Sun
And dethrone Amun"

Even the smallest beating flame
Is able to cast great shades
And there only the past remains

When everything is mere silence
And just this one moment
Only then you can start again

Since the dawn of time
Endured in promising minds
The power of control

Seeking to surpass laws
By closing the open doors
The force that pushes towards
Beginning of all

And when the moon is full
Still I remember you
She said, "It has begun..."

When the sun was gone
I knew there would be another one
"Rise, my champion, and live on..."
