Her friend from childhood, Euros, brought the wind
Thus Autumn was born with a devilish grin
Then my soul took off, carried by the breeze
It's getting cold, but not yet too cold
Right now it's pointless to grow old
And this is where you show your colours
And offer some grapes to me
- Autumn night in the city -
Suspicious looks from wheelers and dealers and a cashgirl
Bringing their schemes to the night
Blend in like a cough in a Mahler performance
Trying to get used to the lights
Don't care for Autumn myself
But in good hands it can be a hell of a fall
I see a once-in-a-lifetime commotion
Let's not let it slip away

But like I said there lies so much more

Michka 08.11.2023 Onpa hieno biisi! Raikkaan progressiivinen ote, niin sanoakseni. Muutamissa kohdin laulu hieman särähti korvaan ja tokihan soundeissa ja miksauksessa aina olisi pientä säätämisen varaa, mutta muutoin kyllä osui ja upposi tämä teos. No okei, sen verran vielä kitisen, että loppulaini jäi hieman päälleliimatun oloiseksi, mitä se tietty olikin. |

Begemot 04.11.2023 Tässäpä hieno tunnelmainen kappale, jossa on aidosti yllättäviä käänteitä. Kuunnellassa vilahtaa levyhylly silmien edessä, jossa on klassikkoalbumeita n. vuosien 1968-1972 väliltä, ilman että tämä olisi mitään halpaa retroilun retroilua. |
