Wrote this song to feel better, just for a while, even though it doesn't matter because the real world is elsewhere, it's a separate entity. So I stare out the window, and it's dark out there, so I see a reflection from where I'm standing in this apartment of mine, and I'm fighting some disease and something's not right.

I'm downtown, see, I made it. I'm walking 'round and my eyelids are heavy like hell, but what's the point in walking 'round when you just can't tell about the place your headed, or about the place you just left, or about the difference between you and me, or if there ever was any difference that one could see?

I'm aware it's me who disappeared in the first place. But I'm seeing things in a different way now and happened to think that what if you would just come over and you could lie on my floor and then I could put that record on and then we'd listen to that record and sort of reach a parallel reality...
