Some noodling to celebrate the scientifically curious day that often gets shadowed by some religious nonsense this time of year.

Not quite happy with the original version, so decided to try to make another more focused version.

Ended up replacing all the compressor, limiters and reverbs with research prototypes, slamming the drums a bit harder on compression but softer on overall mix, loosening the bass to make the overall sound a bit lighter.

Also tried to do a bit more careful master, not forcing it too tight against the ceiling.. and ended up pretty much slamming against the prototype limiter (the MP3 doesn't even tell the whole truth, the original actually runs even hotter) but it actually turned out to sound...

Suht simppeliä kelluntaa, maalailua. Synat "Valolla" (julkaistuu... enemmin tai myöhemmin), ja rumpupuoli parilla FPC kitillä.

Made in August really, but I was never quite happy with the mix, so never was it released. Anyway, tried mixing it again, a couple of times, always discarded the result, so here's the mix from the August.. it's not getting better it seems.

Polymeerikuituja painottomassa tilassa. Ei siis mitään järin erikoista, mutta kelluntaa kuitenkin. Tunnelmaltaan ehkä hitusen kesäisempää kuin edelliset.

Syntyi taas pääosin noilla parilla omatekoisella VST-synalla sählätessä.
