The Subs are a chinese punk band. I saw them live yesterday at Tavastia and was blown away. Plus I fell in love with their vocalist.

It's a bit childish to assume that everyone speaks Finnish. Hmm, has there been any threads in English yet?


If you haven't noticed, this whole site is in finnish, so why is it childish to assume that everyone speaks finnish? You'd have to learn atleast some finnish to fully use this site.

A pretty thought, but wouldn't work very well methinks. Things would start to grow/change too fast. Imagine all the server explosions and stressed-out moderators; five Fruity Loops threads from newbies per day, thrice the amount of poor joke songs... No no. The growth will be easier to control when this site remains Finnish. There's already a large heap of other international mp3 sites for those interested.

Kuka sellaista on nyt leikkinyt? Threadin aloitti ulkomainen käyttäjä joten englanti on kielivalintana täysin looginen. Aloitusviesti oli erittäin asiallinen ja kysymys mielestäni ihan relevantti. Miksi ihmeessä pitää nostaa ätäkkä jos joku nyt sattui miettimään josko täältä löytyisi muitakin käyttäjiä suomen ulkopuolelta?

As long as the current quality of conversation remains - which, due to large amounts of empirical evidence, seems likely to me - I don't think Mikseri.net has any fear whatsoever of getting at all international.

Anyway, Marco Rochowski is from Germany.

totta on että 13-vuotiaan ja 16-vuotiaan välillä on aika suuri kuilu, but it just doesn't make your cause any better in my opinion..

There are few who don't speak Finnish, i.e. Radomski, Cyberman, Macro Rochowski, etc.. I've been trying to get my friends to sign up to Mikseri and as Krizz (nick name for Randomski) said, Mikseri is one of the best mp3 sites and he'd like to see it in English too. But I think he's getting it just fine after some help with some of the words..

And as a side note, he (Krizz) did figure out the new mikseri 3 layout and changes quite well - so it's kind of funny when some Finnish people whine that can't find something while someone who doesn't even know how to read the language can do it...

Mikseri is not forbidden for non-finnish people, I would personally like to see more of those. Maybe we could even have own forum area for English talk if nothing else...

JUST to make this clear!
the reason is that im a foreigner doing music in finland and i would like it out where its first released, which means finland.
thats why i also would love to get in touch with other foreign artists in the same situation.
this discussion kind of went out of hand, with discussions about whether to speak english or not, and whos cool,suck or whatever...
is that the discussion we wanted?
