Hollow Crane: Sulfur Song

Shadows danced in flames and she fed the fire furthermore.
The hunter watched her dream.
No more would be his to ever own.

Running shoe-less, lost, sulfur pressed inside his wounds.
Shut sown lips would seek a song with the notes forgotten long.

She left before the morning light. I followed, didn't find the trail.
She woke before the morning light, watched her go and didn't dare awake.
