Pop No Harm: Come

Come (2009)

Time of the winter
no footsteps on the virgin snow
is this tranquil before the ice storm
wake me, take me home to my swarm.

Come into my world lone penquin
melt the icebergs on my skin
come like the climate change
warm me up, excite and derange.

Time of the spring dawn
young cautious nestling on the perch
many new things, powers that could harm
restrains unlock all fears disarm.

Come into my bed bride in white
turn dreams to lucid without invite
come like a young volcano
let the undiscovered energies flow.

Time of the summer
calm dreamer of the midnight sun
looking for his sweet nectar giver
break the stillness of the river.

Come into my heart nightingale
I'm about to wither and pale
Come like a gentle flood
let your dew revive this late bud.

Time of the harvest
time of the shedding of my life
tell me am I ready to surpass
move on, graduate to a higher class.

Come into my soul firefly
enlighten me, uplift spirit high
come like the Northern lights
cast aural glow over the sky heights.

I have laid down my arms
I'm all alone and only hope defends
vulnerable in the weeds
this war never ends.
I will fall like a soldier
under fire on this battlefield
bind my bleeding wounds
come my nurse
and I shall be healed.
