Year 2001. Let me put it this way... A metal song. Influencies: Metallica, Scorpions, Whitesnake and Agnetha Fältskog :)

The guitar is Fender Stratocaster with single coils through Line 6 POD 2 Rectifier model and i think it rocks quite okay. Boss drum machine sits here maybe better than ever.

Year 2001. Fairly good groove and some of my best soloing (maybe result of the groove). VS-880 guitar amp modeling which was/is fairly convincing. Some keyboard sequencing along the percussion from Boss drum machine.

Anyway does 31.07.2008

3:40

Year 1999. Influence of this song should be quite clear to all neo-classical metal fans. It's hard to say aloud now but yes i used to listen to Yngwie Malmsteen once... okay maybe twice. This is one of those songs i made under Yngwie's "I'm your new god, little boys" influence.

The "keyboard" parts were played with Roland GR-50 guitar synth. And yes, the guitar solo is not fast enough, fortunately maybe.

Matane 31.07.2008

3:57

Year 2002. 'Matane' means 'See you' in Japanese. This song was composed mostly with keys. This is also one of my own favourites, strong melodies and better than average tones. Roland VS-880 and Yamaha DG Stomp guitar amp models all the way and Roland XP-10 keys (played in real time by me!).

What a pity 31.07.2008

2:32

Year 2001. And now something completely different. Some lo-fi tones. I include this song here because it's somehow very my style, however my favourite part is the last ~20 seconds.

I think here is some influence from one song of the Russian rock band called DDT. Cannot remember the name of the song anymore. I was part of the workgroup making a documentary about this fine band in 2000 (The documentary is called 'The Black Dog of St. Petersburg').

Half Sleeping 01.08.2008

Year 1999. A kind of lo-fi style groove. There was popular piano groove with trumpet soloing song (i cannot remember the name) around the time and i made version of it. This is not that song but if you compare the songs you can see the similarity. I love the timpani/piano accents (i think that's from some Beatles song).

I used external sequencer for the drums, piano and timpani. The intro is hurry version of Deep Purple's April intro (and it was pasted to the beginning after mixing the rest of the song). The organ solo is played with guitar synth.

Year 2001. One of those more progressive songs i guess. Quite long, ~2 minute introduction. One of my better ones all in all.

Rejection 01.08.2008

Year 1999. My personal favourite. Featuring sitar sound (externally sequenced) and hard rock riffs. One of my best solos and it was the 1st take.

VS-880 guitar amp models used. The "keyboard" parts were played with guitar synth.

Lose my Blues 01.08.2008

4:47

Year 2002. The piano/organ groove taken from Jon Lord keyboard solo on the Perfect Strangers Tour gigs '85 (played by me in real time like all keyboards in the song!) There is actually one guitar playing but you can barely hear it. I love the harmony organ and "mono" synth is creating in the B-part, the idea is nicked from classic 'Popcorn' song by Gershon Kingsley. Arpeggiator was used in the middle part. The drums are not best for this song but i didn't have better option at the time.
