Fractal
Fractal EP:n avausbiisi. Yleiskuva teemasta - maailman fraktaalisuudesta (nimenomaan sodan näkökulmasta ko. tapauksessa) - josta lähdetään sitä seuraavissa lyriikoissa zoomamaan lähemmäksi aihetta.
Biisi jonka ensisävelet näkivät päivänvalon kuluvan vuosituhannen alkupuolella. Biisin ensimmäiset lyriikat taasen syntyivät n. viikko syyskuun yhdennentoista, 2001 jälkeen. Uusi kertosäkeistö uusine sanoineen (allekirjoittanut ei ollut vanhaan täysin tyytyväinen) taasen melko tarkalleen vuoden myöhemmin. En lähde väittämään, etteikö em. päivämäärillä olisi ollut varsin vahva vaikutus sanoitusten sisältöön. Jossei itse sävellyskään kovin maailmaa syleiliville ratkaisuille olisi mahdollisuuksia antanutkaan.
Kuten edeltää huomaa, on biisillä ollut varin pitkä elinkaari ja tärkeä paikka omissa tekeleissäni. Tämä versio purkitettiin muistaakseni joskus vuoden 2006 syystalvella. Se on laadullisesti kaikista biisin toistaiseksi purkitetuista versioista paras. Kuitenkin rajallisen ajan ja kärsivällisyyden takia käytimme versioon tasaista rumpumattoa, joka hieman tiputti sitä kontrastia, jota olin biisiin toivonut. Mutta tällä mennään vielä nyt.
